Happy Toast Tuesday Everyone!
Just thought I’d jump over here to share two delicious toasts I tried today that make toast Tuesday worth celebrating. This is a quick and easy toast recipe for snack time or breakfast, when you want something sweet, satisfying and FAST!
If you’re up for it, you can try making your own nut butter, like this Gourmet Maple Roasted Peanut Butter. Or you can be lazy like I did, and spread using your favourite peanut butter and almond butter brand. Mine in France is Jean Herve. Their nut butters are so smooth, creamy and lush! (FYI this is not a sponsored post, I just LOVE their nut butters)! If you’re also feeling up to it you can try cutting those banana slices into little stars, they’re so cute! But honestly it tastes the same either way. And in full disclosure I’ve got a star cutter than makes these pretty cut-outs.
So here we have two easy and delicious toasts. The first is a classic peanut butter and banana, and the other a little more unusual; combining kiwi and almond butter. Ask me which one I like more? Honestly this might surprise you…I’m a huge peanut butter and banana fan (and will forever remain loyal to that), but the kiwi and almond butter blend really surprised me! It was sweet and decadent, and I think may have been my toast of choice!
I’ll leave you to determine which you like more – or perhaps it will be a tie. But what I do know is that this is these beauties are how you toast with the most. A recipe that’s so easy, so good, and so comforting.
Now, what’s your verdict?
