5-Minute Pina Colada Smoothie with Pineapple and Banana
This Pina Colada Smoothie is a refreshing tropical paradise. Made with simple whole food ingredients like pineapple, banana, almond milk and hemp hearts. Ready in 5 minutes!
4tbsp hemp hearts(or 1 scoop vanilla protein powder)
2tbspshredded coconut
pinchturmeric(optional for bolder colour)
Instructions
Toss all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend on low until smooth, 1 to 3 minutes. Optional to use splashed more almond milk to thin if desired.(If using protein powder: forgo adding the date, unless you like it very sweet. Most protein powders contain sugar).
Notes
This recipe is extra-thick! And can be enjoyed as a smoothie or smoothie bowl with toppings like fresh pineapple, banana and granola. If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add splashes more almond milk until you've reached desired consistency. This is also helpful if you don't have a high-speed blender for easier blending.
