Quick, smooth, and savoury vegan gravy made with miso and vegetable broth. This vegan gravy is rich and flavourful, and full of umami flavour. Enjoy served over potatoes, nut roast, stuffing and roasted vegetables.
In a small saucepan, add the miso and a splash of vegetable broth whisk together to break up the miso into a liquid texture. Then add the remaining broth, nutritional yeast, arrowroot powder, onion powder and tamari. Whisk together to combine.
Whisk in the vegan butter to melt and let the gravy simmer and thicken, whisking frequently, approx. 8-10 minutes.
