Easy Citrus Salad

Enjoy this citrus salad late winter or early spring, when citrus is at it's prime. Mix and match your favourite citrus fruits like orange, blood orange and grapefruit.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup baby greens of choice
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 navel orange
  • 2 blood oranges
  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp agave
  • pinch sea salt and pepper

Instructions

  • On a large plate add your baby greens. Cut the peel from your grapefruit and oranges. Turn grapefruit and oranges onto their side and slice into thin rounds.
  • Layer grapefruit and orange rounds overtop salad greens. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts, dill, and hemp hearts. Mix together balsamic, oil and agave and drizzle over salad. Season with lots of salt and pepper.
