  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 banana preferably frozen
  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt
  • 150 g frozen acai puree (about 1 cup, or 1 tbsp acai powder)

  • 1/4 cup strawberries chopped
  • 1 banana chopped
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • Toss banana, mixed berries, apple juice, coconut yogurt, and frozen acai puree into blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Scoop into bowls and top with your favourite ingredients. I used fresh strawberries and banana, granola and coconut flakes to sprinkle, and a spoonful of peanut butter.

See blog post for tips on where to buy açai. If you cannot find açai you can still make a delicious berry smoothie bowl with this smoothie recipe. Simply substitute the açai with 1 cup more frozen berries.
