Combine coconut oil and plant-based ground. Cook  for 3-5 minutes.

Add the spices: onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, chili flakes, and  nutritional yeast.

Add in the tomato paste, soy sauce, and maple syrup.

Mix together to combine until warmed and lightly browned, 5-10 minutes. (Optionally add a splash of water to the mixture if the  ground is getting dry).

Heat the tortillas in a skillet for 30 seconds on each side.

Scoop the vegan taco meat into the tortillas, top with dollops of Vegan Queso. Sprinkle with pickled onions, cilantro, and green onions.

Lastly, add a squeeze of lime.
