Step 1

Sift flour & icing sugar into a bowl. Stir in almond flour, cardamon & salt.

Step 2

Cut butter, & massage into flour mixture. Mix in agave & vanilla to form shaggy dough.

Step 3

Turn dough out onto a work surface, bring together to form a smooth dough ball.

Step 4

Wrap the dough & chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 5

Dust work surface with flour. Roll out dough about 1/4 thick.

Step 6

Use a round cookie cutter (2.5 inches) to cut out cookies. 

Step 7

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Transfer cookies to trays.

Step 8

Bake cookies until lightly golden on top, 8-10 mins. Let cool for 5 mins, then transfer to a wire rack.

Step 9

Whisk together icing sugar & almond milk, dip cookies to coat. Garnish with rose petals.
