Make the flax egg. 

Transfer store-bought pie crust to the bottom and sides of a 9-inch tart dish. 

Build up the walls of your dish with the pie crust.

Combine all the filling ingredients (except the pecans) into a large bowl. 

Mix together with  a hand mixer. 

Fold in the chopped  pecans and stir well.

Pour the filling into  the pie crust.

Place pie on a baking sheet. Bake at 350F/180C until the filling has set, about  1 hour.
